The Half Moon Bay FPD Board of Directors Special Meeting of January 30, 2007, was called to order by President Burke at 6:00­p.m.

 

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

 

ROLL CALL

President Burke, Vice-President Silva, Secretary Lees and Director Donovan were present.  Director Eufusia was absent.

 

Acting Chief Cole represented staff.  Attorney Jean Savaree was present as Legal Counsel.  Labor Negotiator Jack Hughes was also present.

 

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS

            none

 

CLOSED SESSION

A.        Conference with Labor Negotiator Jack Hughes of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore regarding labor negotiations for Transitional Memorandum of Understanding (closed session held pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.7)

Direction was given.  No action was taken.

 

B.        Conference with Legal Counsel regarding potential litigation - 1 case (closed session held pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9)

Direction was given.  No action was taken.

 

ADJOURNMENT

            Director Donovan made a motion to adjourn at 7:25 p.m.  Director Lees seconded and the meeting was adjourned.
