Firefighter/ Paramedic
Chuck Wise was recently selected to carry
the Olympic Torch for .2 miles in Pacific
Grove. He was just one of 11,500 people
chosen from more than 200,000 nominations.
"I was a little bit nervous" says Wise.
The Torch "symbolizes peace and everybody
getting together. And it means more now
because of what happened on Sept. 11. This
represents the world getting together for
a common cause."
